Bank Alfalah Limited – A Brief History

Bank Alfalah is an international bank with its branches in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bahrain, and the UAE. It also has a representative office in Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi Group of United Arab Emirates is the owner and operator of Bank Alfalah. In 2005, the Bank started its operations in Bangladesh by acquiring Shamil Bank of Bahrain. From then on, the bank has grown from a single branch to seven branches and is willing to expand all over the country. Our network consists of seven branches in the major cities of Dhaka, Chittagong, and Sylhet.

The Bank offers a broad money-related service to people, businesses, organizations, and government agencies.
