Trust Bank Limited – A Brief History

Trust Bank Limited is amongst the leading Private Commercial Banks having the widest network of 118 branches & SME centers, 8 sub-branches, 267 ATM Booths, and above 500 POS across Bangladesh and is admittedly spanning to more branches to cover the important commercial areas in Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, and other areas in 2021. The bank, sponsored by Army Welfare Trust, is first of its kind in the country. With a wide range of modern corporate and consumer financial banking products, Trust Bank has achieved public confidence of a sound and stable bank.

In 2001, the bank introduced automated branch banking network to increase efficiency and improve customer service across its branches. In the year 2005, the bank moved one step further by introducing ATM services for its customers.

As the business volume of the bank increased over these years and demands of the customers enlarged manifold, our technology has been upgraded to manage the growth of the bank and meet the demands of our customers.

In January 2007, Trust Bank has successfully launched the Online Banking Services facilitating Any Branch Banking, ATM Banking, Phone Banking, SMS Banking, & Internet Banking to all customers. Customers can deposit or withdraw money from any Branch of Trust Bank across the country without the need to open multiple accounts in multiple Branches.

Through Online Services and Visa Electron (Debit Card), ATMs can now provide customers facilities like retrieving 24×7 hours Account information such as check-up of account balance through mini-statements and cash withdrawal.

Trust Bank has been able to introduce Visa Credit Cards with a view to serving its existing and potential valued customers.
